Fur, Feathers, and Fins Taxidermy uses only the finest quality materials in your trophy.  We use accurately shaped glass eyes in all of our deer mounts.  Many taxidermists use spherical round eyes for their whitetail mounts.  These eyes are not anatomically correct for a Whitetail deer.  We also finish the inside of the nose of our deer, including septums, as opposed to some who stuff the nose full of clay and paint it black so you can't see it.

Just as important, we work with you to select the pose you want for your trophy.  We can also make custom alterations to get you the precise mount you want.  Many taxidermists won't even ask you what pose you want; they mount it using the cheapest form they can find.

We mount your trophy fish on custom, hand carved forms.  We take over 20 measurements of your fish and carve a form to match the exact specifications.  Many taxidermists don't mount fish themselves; they send your fish out to some wholesaler and have no idea who will mount your fish and how it will look when it comes back.  And the taxidermists that do mount your fish themselves will likely buy a pre-made form made from someone else's fish that they will make fit.

Your hide will be professionally cleaned and turned before it is professionally tanned by licensed tanneries and fur dealers.  Therefore, you can expect a clean, soft, tanned skin.

Our skull cleaning service includes cleaning, degreasing, whitening, and sealing.  We seal your trophy skull with a fungicidal sealer so you will not ever have to worry about fungal growth on your trophy skull.

We have a large variety of bases and panels to choose from.  Our bases and panels are solid oak and walnut. Our habitat boxes for large game are of the utmost quality made with eight inch high sides.  Our provider makes these boxes for some of the worlds best taxidermists.
